Cycling Improvement Program

Our off season Cycling Improvement Program is one that we are very excited about here at Faultless Fitness. With the recent addition of 4 top of the range Wattbikes, coupled with the use of our strength and conditioning facility, we have designed a 20-week structured macrocycle combining all aspects of cycling, within 5 different mesocycles. The huge variety of sessions keeps things interesting and progressing forward. You will gain strength, power, speed and improved cycling economy throughout the plan, along with the plan prehabilitating you from injury, to make sure you get to the competitive season in the best shape you have ever been in.

Feel Confident on Race Day

The key reason why our is different to other facilities, is that your training with us will be personalised around your own unique competition calendar using a macrocycle, which will be carefully designed by one of our Sports Scientists. Using a knowledge based approach, we can ensure that you are in peak condition for when it really matters. You’ll learn the what and the why behind every session and training phase, so that you can go into next season feeling confident in your ability and ready to perform.

Regular Performance Testing to Check Progress

To ensure that you are constantly making improvements whilst you are with us, we regularly utilise performance testing methods to check up on your results. These tests determine how well you are adapting to the program, and give us vital information that will shape how your plan is designed going forwards. Seeing your progress in power and minutes is also incredibly empowering for you, and will give you valuable motivation to keep yourself dedicated to your goals throughout the winter months.

Advanced Nutritional Guidance

We know that there’s a lot of information and contradicting advice out there about what you should be eating as an athlete, but we’re here to cut through the noise and give you evidence-based guidance. Our nutritional strategy covers what to have before, during and after your competitions.You’ll also learn the importance of fuelling yourself correctly during your off-season, which will not only help you whilst training, but will also ensure you recover faster than ever before.
