Master Sports Program

The Master Sports Program is designed to cater for sports men and women who are looking for the same increases in performance gained from our original sports programs, but with the added benefit of a dedicated trainer, increasing their plans continuity, care and results. Using an expert combination of exercise testing, periodisation, strength and conditioning and nutritional guidance, your Sports Scientist will work with you to develop a plan that will address the weaknesses in your current performance, and illicit the adaptations necessary to reach your goals.
The Program is available either delivered from our Hereford training facility, or as an online service.

Dedicated Sports
Scientist

Every member of the Master Sports Program has a dedicated Sports Scientist who oversees their entire intervention. This means that you will have one trainer who will be your point of contact when you join, and who will work with you throughout your time with us. Building a core of continuity, care and trust is essential in us reaching your end goals with you. You will work 1:1 with your trainer twice a month, using this time as you wish, whether that be for personal training, nutritional coaching, post race debriefing etc. having one person in charge of your intervention is invaluable to your success.

Performance Testing and Analysis

Exercise testing is a key component in all of our sports programs, as it allows us to gain a detailed picture of your current performance levels and where you need to improve. This information is then analysed, which allows us to design you a program that will elicit the specific adaptations necessary to increase your performance.

Macrocycle and Periodisation

When you sign up for the Master Sports Program, you will be sent a macrocycle to complete. Once filled out, it will detail all of your races and events over the next 12-month period, which we then use to build your training plan. Utilising periodisation, we can elicit the changes needed at the right times in order to guarantee you’re in peak condition for when it matters to you most. Whether that be for the Marathon you’ve been working towards, or the Tri event that’s the pinnacle of your sporting year, we will ensure that you start the race feeling prepared, confident and ready.

Nutritional Guidance

As well as the physical and practical demands of training, your Sports Scientist will help you to determine the correct nutritional strategy for your sport. This includes looking at your current pre, post and intra-race nutrition, then delivering you a plan to maximise your performance going forwards. Our nutritional guidance is designed to educate you and take away any unsurety you have surrounding the conflicting advice out there, so that you can understand and trust the strategy you’re given.

Intra race nutrition can be complex, and is not something you want to leave to chance, as it could be the difference between an average performance and a personal best.

Advanced Software & Mobile App

All of our clients are provided with our high-end intervention monitoring and prescription app that allows you to instantly contact your trainer if you have a question, see and log your workout, and send us data to help monitor the success of your nutritional coaching. The app is so easy to use, allowing you to access your plan and trainer from anywhere.
